Black and white portrait of a man, Joseph Jenkins. Back reads: "Joseph Jenkins, Early Pawnee Co. [County] Treasurer. Homesteaded land now part of Larned St. [State] Hospital. His stone house stood on top of the hill named for him, Jenkins Hill. A schoolhouse and a well were also named after him. Earlier the hill was called Lookout Mt. [Mount], and stone was hauled from it to build Ft. [Fort] Larned."
